Moving with the transformation of the town, Ciato’s Eatery & Bar opened our doors in October 2017. Ciato’s Eatery & Bar is a family business wherein different expertise and skills have been put together ranging from my father, Deon Beukes who has extensive business experience, Neville Stoffels who is a qualified chef, husband of D’neal Stoffels. D’neal who has vast knowledge and has experience in the hospitality industry and mother Mara Beukes, who has extensive people and networking skills.
It was the family’s idea to name the restaurant Ciato’s which in Portuguese means stop for a while. “It means ‘stop and have a good time’ in our option, and then Eatery & Bar was added to the name, as it has a light sound to it compared to ‘restaurant’ which should be too heavy on the ear. Eatery & Bar sounds more inviting and entertaining.
Ciato’s Eatery & Bar has chosen top quality cuisine with a variety of local and international tastes. It caters for the whole family as it is not only child friendly, but welcomes businesses, sit-alone guests and tourists.
