Cherman Tjombe, a young enthusiastic man, lost his job in tourism shortly after the beginning of the Corona Pandemic. However, unemployment did not win Mr. Tjombe over, As head of the household being a husband and a father, he decided to not put his head down and strive for the future of his family.
This is when his entrepreneurial journey began. Cherman, who casually enjoyed making delicacies as a hobby chose to fully enter the hospitality industry, by opening up a home based fast food delivery business called The Home Kitchen Cuisine. He quickly blended in the market and gained customers as his passion for food was his expression of art which created euphoric memories for clients. He has since then catered for corporate functions, social markets, and expo, as well as on a daily basis for food lovers in and around Oranjemund.
